Every time H&M launches another capsule collection or collab, I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. You know you’ll get good value for your money, both style and quality wise. So when I got the chance to shoot some pieces from their H&M Studio AW15 collection shown in Paris this Spring, I enthusiastically paired up with one of my favorite Belgian bloggers and esteemed professional colleague and friend Karen from Ghentstreets. We share our love for all things H&M and fashion, but have complementary styles. Karen‘s all about the minimal look with a twist keeping timeless elements in mind. This Studio collection is all about retro futuristic glamour, combining space age elements with the late sixties, early seventies Futurism and retro shapes. A modern style version of David Bowie’s 1969 ‘Space Oddity’ you could say. These perfect winter pieces come in warm colors, a mix of materials, a dash of lurex and some bold prints. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow: straight from the skiing slopes to the runway this season! My favorite piece? The front split, turtle neck sweater: a piece I’ll be enjoying for seasons to come with endless combination options. And I wouldn’t mind adding that zigzag print flared pants and a pair of those camel boots to my collection if I’ll get the chance! 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…. Liftoff!
